The One

I'm not the best looking man Yet I don't try to be These girls always want attention But they get none from me I don't entertain their ignorance I let them live their life This is not hard to do So there is nothing I sacrifice I enjoy watching them parade themselves I guess they feel the world owes them something I sit back and observe the reactions When in return they get nothing But noticing me in the cut There is that one girl 5'5 caramel complected Her head naturally filled with curls She waves and smiles everytime she sees me I wave and smile back But I never approach her because my 6'5 athletic frame is deceiving I have the heart of a lion and the exterior of a brick wall But when I think about talking to this girl My heart takes a fall In all of my relationships, I felt something special But for some reason, I feel she was meant to be Approaching her will be far from sexual I believe she was meant for me I want to connect with her soul But also intrigue her mind Dig deep in to her heart Just to see what's left to find All these girls around But I don't tolerate their exaggerations There is plenty of fish in the sea But I wouldn't throw a line out to catch them At this point, I know what I have to do I have to show that behind this smile There is definately a trustworthy dude So to the woman with the shine of African American beauty I know if I catch her, I keep her Because she is more than just another fish in the sea to me
