The Olympics

The gymnasts and swimmers all move ‘round The trick is not to slip on the ground Some swim like fish Some fly and swish And to the podium they are bound! The marathoners burn up the track The weightlifters have strong arms and back They lift up high Tho God knows why And their goal is not to hear a crack! The Olympic games are really fun For the nations and for everyone The athletes will cry And so will I… My poor eyes will be glad when they’re done!
