The Old Malt Shop

I sauntered over to the old malt shop On my very first day of high school I ventured to get some chips and pop But ended up feeling just like a fool The juke box was blasting away With all of the hits of the day While cigarette smoke was burning my eyes I couldn't get in, to my total surprise The place was packed way out to the walls And I didn't have time to reach the stalls So I forgot all about chips and pop And never went back to the old malt shop
