Your poem is powerful an extaordinarily well written, James. Although the movie was too gory for my taste, I am glad that efforts are made to bring our soldiers home. There's a candidate for president who spent 8 years captive in Vietnam. When he landed in the states, his first words were, "Thank you for bringing me home." I hate to think of how many POWs have suffered in the past. Excellent poem, James. Best wishes in the contest. Love, Carolyn
