The New Man
Before God,my life was like food
without salt,very bland.
Like a peanut butter sandwich without jam.
When I would cook
it wasn't healthy,
because I would use too much butter
and not enough Pam.
As I was faced with pain,
I was like Forest Gump I ran.
When I would get scared,
I would try to bury my face
as deep as I can in the sand.
But God picked me up,
gave me new,and
stronger legs to stand.
He put a new thought in my head.
And like Thomas the Train would say
"I think I can" " I think I can".
Yes I'm a new man
under God's master plan.
So the only thing to say now is
"AMEN"
