The Mystery Letter - a Collaboration -Part 3

She opened it carefully and read my reply: You, oh woman, gem of life, are more than worthy of comfort, and worthy of healing in this time of great tribulation. You do not fight alone in this foggy hell of grief. Everything you are feeling every word you have written, on your note, from the very recesses of your heart, has been heard, and is known. Do not be afraid, for I am a very old friend of yours, here to remind you of old truths. Death with all it's sorrow and grief, is only a reminder that this human life of yours is temporary, trying, and utterly precious. With all you have lost, child of God, there is still so much more to be found. And since you have found this letter in the hollow of this lovely tree, you have taken your first step towards the light. Count it a joy, dear woman, a new-found joy sprouting in an orchard, waiting for other joys to sprout up with it. Do not succumb to the warring thoughts—instead, with the armor of the Eternal, fight them back, and push them behind you. In the end, the choice is yours to make. If you feel you are still too weak to fight the darkness away, I will be your lantern. I will be the cool wind caressing your face. I am always with you, and I will never abandon you. Just remember: All is not lost, when so much more is to be found. Be strong, and the fogs that plague you will dim and clear. Have faith, and the path to recovery shall appear to you clear as a day in May. leading you to a dwelling filled with peace, comfort and happiness. With love and devotion, Your guardian and friend -words by Laura B * Thank you Mystic Rose (Vie) for the opportunity to collab. You're such an inspiring Poetess.

Absolutely amazing you two! It's the kind of story poem that uplifts the spirit of whoever reads it, pushing darkness away as if it were nothing ... in the beginning despair, but in the end light and peace. My only complaint is that P-Soup has a small character limit on posts, and I would have wished to read this uninterrupted (never liked being forced to split up poems in sections ... lol) It looks as though Mystic got the train going, and you made sure she arrived safely at her destination.
