The Moment

The moment, is when I look into her eyes, And I see the same sparkle in them, And I can tell, she’s reading my heart. The moment, is when I get hold of her arm, And engulf her palm in mine, And let the emotions flow, with no words to utter. The moment, is when she lays her head on my lap, Like a little spoiled princess, And I can feel her heartbeat, right through her pulse. The moment, is when we sit back to back, on that cliff, And let the silence reign with our fused thoughts, As our hearts wander with waves of the ocean below. The moment, is when I wrap my hands around her waist, And feel her weight hanging loose on mine, And I can tell, she will not let go, neither will I. The moment, is when I glance at her smile, And see those deep beautiful dimples on her cheeks, And I can do anything, to make her do it again. The moment, is when I am with her, And she does not want to leave, And neither do I want to leave.
