The Merits of Fasting: Merry Ramazaan

Fasting cleanses both body and soul It breaks you only to make you whole Its spiritual connection plays a vital role. Now not only the wearer knows the shoe pinches for you get the chance to be in the needy's shoes A whole month to forget those addictive binges A chance to comprehend the poor man's cues. Donot complain if your tummy's rumbling grumbling for the poor man has always been thus starving Feel his hunger, feel for him and side by side give your weight a trim Everybody wants to be so slim. Many religions do prescribe it The fasting one will describe it If you have never done it you might want to try it. A month of fortitude, forbearance is a month of fasting intended to impart a self-control and patience that's everlasting. We all need ketosis to get rid of the lipids, fat stores And researcher Google just told me that's what fasting ensures! Craving for eatables the belly though may be raging yet scientists have proved that produces a substance for anti-aging! So if you are interested in a healthier, longer life span come join me and fast away this month of Ramazaan. It's time you understood God's health plan. Researchers say the fasting person diverts energy from the digestive system to the immune system! Every wajibat has been proven good for both soul and body Scroll even Google for yourself to thank the fasting dictum. Fasting's a perfect way of bodily detoxification Researchers say it's notable how fasting detoxifies each organ! So come one come all, fasting can be for any creed It lowers the BP and lowers the greed as attention is diverted from the self to those in need. I hope a month of NO food yet gives some food for thought For a fasting from pondering should never be sought!

To Arthur, yor coment below is prejudiced and misinformed. Fasting is what has the psychological effect of enhancing the giving spirit and to share the feelings of the poor. Many have observd that most and more charity is given out in Ramazan when hearts are pinchd n softened for the poor. As for the extremists they are not really muslim so they don't even fast.

I thought it was called Ramadan. My students are fasting but they come to class complaining and I think it should be done in a spirit of happiness if that is what they really want to do. The LDS church fasts the first Sunday of each month. It was always so hard for me. Don't know if I could last a month. Anyway, I am sure it must have benefits for the body. Interesting poem, and I hope your cats will learn to get along. I did not have to worry as much. My cats are always declawed!

It benefits only extremists, God would much prefer actions rather than symbolism, rather than starve and harm ones body, go feed a poor person with a huge smile!

Hi Andrea yeah its the same Ramazan or Ramadhan. U got the more arabic term great. And most adult muslims fast happily and don't complain about it . Kids may complain of hunger but fasting is a measure and exercise in self control and to feel how the poor starved man's shoes pinches so it isn't supposed to be piece of cake. Its a test. And eating the midnight 4. am food makes it easier so many eat that sehri. Hey so u guys have declawing knowhow. I wouldn't know how to do that. I don't think they would ever get along. They r so aggressively jealous of each other. Ahhh its hard keeping my kittens apart. And I don't know any vets here so if they have worms I hope they don't latch onto us somehow but one does have a pot belly. And thank God He healed her limp and she can hop along well. Warmest wishes n thanx.

Thank you for this poem. It is very genuine, written from the depth of the soul. Very powerful statements. However, (constructive criticism) I found no allusions from the Holy Quran, not even a verse, and you have stressed the benifits rather extensively. Thus the affect is high, try to make it look more like a challange, Best of regards Ali Adhab
