The Love Train
The Love Train
One blade of grass drifting in the wind
The tongue is a strange evil in it's mouth.
A line is being drawn in the sand you understand
The beat of the clock to watch the grand tick tock
The surface of the sun has tainted my inner vision
Stregnth in number still you need to be forgiven
This isn't a one stop shopping event at seven eleven
One word spoken in the dark has now been brought to light
We only get one chance to make a good first impression
Suffer in the silence in the very cell of your room
It's my belief that for instant relief a hug is the best gift of all
The empty soul left helpless outside in the rain
I need love to carry me from all the hurt & pain
Through the sweltering heat with bloodshed in the street
A bargain basement type of deal another chance to spin the wheel
Send the American troops home no good reason for them to roam
A mother's cry as he door bell rings
Vanishing salute to freedom as the church choir sings
Let's look above to the heavenly love
Shelter lies dormant amidst it's beckoning plough
Love has gained it also has lost humanities heaviest cost
Merciful one take this chip off my shoulder stop the fighting
Let's join hands and celebrate are difference
Love is the essence of my existence so stop the resistance
On the surface of the moon there's a glow to show
If you lose love it's better to have lost then no love at all
Celebrate by starting a revival that starts in each of are hearts
For this had lit the inner spark to what it is I have been waiting for
