The Lonely Word- Honesty

Honesty can tear apart Lay open my wounded heart Make those hidden tears to start Honesty can cleanse my soul Wash me up and make me whole Make transparency my goal Honesty my voice has stirred Though it is a “lonely word” Because of it, I am heard Honesty, so dear to me The window through which you see And what sets my demons free Honesty, my sacred vow I give to you here and now 'Tis my kiss upon your brow Eileen Manassian Ghali

You really can't lose when it comes to honesty... it may hurt and do a lot of damage, but in the end it's the only stable thing to go off of. You portrayed that so elegantly in this poem... loved it!

Yes....Cecilia...Honesty has gotten me into many a bind, but it has also gotten me many promotions! ;) To admit your faults to your boss...might be considered suicide, but it builds trust. Same goes for every relationship.
