The Little House on Maple Street

The lonely flower is

still on Maple street

as it was yesterday.

The Little brown house

so still and empty

as it was yesterday.

The little brown house

filled with memories

as it was yesterday.

The little brown house

on maple street where

I once lived seems

as it was yesterday.

Passing this house must bring back some good memories, James, but knowing it is empty now must make you feel sad. Very touching write about your Maple Street home. I haven't been online much either for the same reasons as you and I finally returned your Soup mail. Love and blessings for a speedy recovery, Carolyn
