A lighthouse actually saved my life one night in a storm-tossed sea when the compass was spinning eratically. You brought back a comforting memory. How wonderful it was to see that "pillar of light" after hours of trying to find my way back to shore. Brilliant senryu, James! Love you! Carolyn (Still moving, but wanted to visit the soup.)

...As was God's pillar of fire to the Israelites in the desert. I love lighthouses both functionally and symbolically. Nice poem, James. Smiling (and a bit silly this day), Dane
