each day is a journey uphill new mountains to climb but I tend to l i n g e r on the way to touch a fragrant wildflower- and listen to the birds sing a melody oh- I lay in meadows dreaming and watch the clouds in the azure d r i f t i n g I wiggle my toes in mountain streams at the end of the day no wonder, I NEVER climbed any mountains I was just too slow, so I just F A L L back down to earth you see- it is all about the journey you never actually have to reach the mountain top _______________________________ July 7, 2016 Poetry/Free Verse/the journey Copyright Protected, ID 16-806-982-0 All Rights Reserved. Tom, thank you for visiting, oh yes, this is me, I dilly dally along the way to everywhere but I am never late... I leave my home 2 hours ahead just in case, for everything ~

This write is proof that it really is about the journey, not the destination! For some, the destination is the end game without realizing that what is learned throughout the journey is what provides growth! The destination is simply a stopping point!
