The Aisle Seems So Rugged
Standing on the border-line
covered by an itchy rug
two worlds, two lives, one person,
in less than an hour, freedom is expired,
taking the next step, quite unclear and foggy,
responsibilities so welcoming and giving a big hug
Ecstasy clouded by uncertainties,
joy amidst fears of the future,
reality surfacing like threats from a thug
and giving alert as though faced with wild dogs.
But hell yeah!
The transition seems naturally plain
and no need for any form of disdain
Switching to a life of complete companionship,
getting comfort from a bosom so meek,
sharing breath with a heart always available,
all plaster the bricks of the mind
even when such gross anxiety knocks on its door
The bold step has been taken
let the aisle be decorated
for the groom is here!
