The Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit
Out of heaven sent down for those to help teach
Some have seen it in the form of a white dove
This was left on the day of Pentecost for all believer's
To learn the great love from the father with love
A great memory of charm so sound the alarm
The prophets foretold it's appearing while the faithful are disappearing,
Shades of white & a hint of shing grey
We shall humbly receive as we bow the knee to pray
It's the peace that passes all understanding
For a world torn to black opposition
Shattered glass through the stained glow appeal
The Holy Spirit is brought into each prayer meeting
It's in the mist of the dew with the changing of the season
We hear that soft still voice out of Jesus from heaven
The symbol of a white dove carrying an olive branch
It's found on the faces of a distant child in waiting
Fallen embers all a glow nothing shady often exchanging
It speaks of love as a respectful teacher
The father, son & holy spirit
There is no reason to retreat yet to calmly stay peaceful & fear it
