The Heat of Love

Feel against your chest the tune of my heart’s beat, The separation between our bodies is quite a shame; We flee that prevailing sensation of immense heat. Your lips grace mine; I taste your mouth tender and sweet, Upon my bodily form you have certainly staked your claim Feel against your chest the tune of my heart’s beat. You lock hands with me as we walk this street Into my ear you faintly whisper my name, We flee that prevailing sensation of immense heat. The thumping upon the grounds emits from our feet, My eyes are captivated by your imposing frame, Feel against your chest the tune of my heart’s beat. Entangled within each others souls no other shall we greet Our love is a candle, within our hearts the flame, We flee that prevailing sensation of immense heat. We have overcome many a callous feat, Togetherness remained our endless aim. Feel against your chest the tune of my heart’s beat, We flee that prevailing sensation of immense heat.
