The Hands of Who
As a child his life seemed hard and he often questioned why
Beaten and bruised by his father he'd sit and watch his mother cry
Low confidence and self esteem by 14 drugs and alcohol he'd used
He didn't understand why but he felt very confused
He met his soulmate and a family of his own he started
Finally he felt that happiness in his life was granted
As a parent he couldn't understand how you could neglect
Taking your child somewhere unsafe when as a parent you're meant to protect
As time passed he started recalling memories of a child being abused
All those years gone and his memories he'd refused
Affecting his life a decision was needed on what he now should do
Disclose that he's a victim of abuse and inform at the hands of who
Will it help the process, help him heal and his life get through
He can't forget or forgive, can you really blame him would you?
