The Hall

i stood. stunned. wide open as the sounds washed through me. the ecstacy. of energy. coursing through my veins in waves of light. i wanted. to fall. to simply move to feel more in awe in awe. i carried. within me. the echos from all the concerts ever played. and they played me, day after day. and i swam with them in an open sky, in the hall of mirrors, my drafty hall of mirrors. i loved, i loved, i yearned, i cried, i died i lived, i loved, i left, i sighed, i tried i moved, i grieved, i teased pleased and pleaded i prayed saved gave took had and utterly destroyed. and all the while, in my hall of mirrors, the winds words waves and sounds coursed through me. my beautiful, empty, aching, hall of mirrors.
