The Grace of God

He’s with me when I’m feeling ill
And dries my eyes when tears would spill
And when there’s no one else to care,
The grace of God is there.

He sets His angels over me
When danger looms, where ere it be
And when I need a friend to share,
The grace of God is there.

When rosy clouds have turned to gray
And only sadness comes my way
With sorrow far too much to bear
The grace of God is there.

And when each morning dawns anew
And rainbows arc, I know it’s true.
The grace of God is there.
