the gift of a book

I woke up one morning a whole new me
35 years it took for me to see
A revelation of self for me to explore
To claim a new piece of myself that i cant ignore
a yearning for learning
Of imagination galore
So much information for me to obtain
And
To endore
A part of myself I didnt know i'd like
And
Just as the years took time
So does the similarity of riding a bike
I crave this new discovery
I just cant let it go
I find myself full of new knowledge
That makes me go back for more
Intrigue,romance,excitement
and the chance to feel youth again too
It all came from reading a book
That eventually became a few
