The gift

The time is now that we realize what shouldn't been done,
We can only sit and wonder what could have been for humanity,
For this great gift from the universe has been squander,
This is the end of all we know,
No amount of crying will change our fate,
From the universe once we came,
Once we shall go,
The end is forth coming and unchangeable,
But don't fear we are not the only gift from the universe.
