The Flame

The Flame Mesmerizing dancing light, Careless in its quest. Moonlit shadows fade to black, Smoke rising to digest… Fireworks bursts of embers, Floating randomly towards nights sky, As translucent flames of golden-orange, Prove desperate in their plight. By Jodee Carrigan, 1995
