The Fall of the Great
The Devil, before he fell, should probably have been called Jewel
For like a red sparkling diamond, he shined and with praises, he did swell
He was at that time, a most good looking being
Made of a pure mind, a golden heart and a most adorable soul
He had the darkest curly hair
The sweetest look on his face, given by two hazel eyes
And of course, the most innocent smile ever
God liked him, for he had the ability to make God laugh
His pranks and his mischievous ways would ignite the whole of Heaven
Angels would need to leave their duties
To participate in the jolly mood of well being
God liked him, because he was a good singer
Whenever he was asked to sing, he would always sing according to God's mood
God liked him, because he always knew what God wanted to eat
Each day, each night, he was the one to instruct the cooks
God liked him best because he was fully able to take care of everything
From the happenings on Earth
To the sufferings to be inflicted in Hell
To the bestowed fates of new souls
He would manage it all, by being calm and soothing
God found in him perfection
Indeed, Lucifer, for that was his real name, was a well crafted piece of creation
God found in him beauty
His perfection and his innocence gave him such an allure
But when the Devil became imbibed with the sins of desires
When he wanted power, glory, adoration for himself
God could tolerate it not
God's view changed
No longer a piece of perfection was Lucifer
Rather, he was an object of darkness
Despicable and ugly
So God brought to him his fall, hoping that through suffering Lucifer would atone
Why, it may take centuries, ages even
But God still had hope, his favorite would have a change of heart!
Oh yes, of that He does be sure of!
Someday, His sublime creation shall come to his senses
And this senseless fight between the dark and the light will come to an end!
