The empty apartment -

Damp winter cold pervades
The emptiness
White painted walls
Clean sanded floors
All signs of occupation
Gone -

Liz, I like the stark contrast between the pristine apartment and the emptiness the fills the walls. A poignant poem, dear. Have a very merry Christmas. Hope you are spending it with family and friends. Love, Carolyn
