The Doorway

What is this welcome
entrance that swings on ornate
hinges and squeaks with rusted
promises yet to be?
Is it truly tomorrow's love,

or just another
room where everything's a lie
and memories are hidden
behind a lock and key?
What should I trust about this door?

We trust that door because future holds hope eternal my friend. Yet the question also begs how much trust do we invest and how much farther do we care to push it in our eagerness to force! A ten lines of brilliant write.... One that can be applied to so many of our emotions.

CRAIG! CRAIG! CRAIG! You YOU...are amazing!!! I love your work. I love the way you just play with words with wanton abandon and they just OBEY you! I have to at times FORCE them to do my bidding. What an AMAZING write. Beautiful in every way....Your heart will tell you what lies beyond. Reminds me of the story...The Lady or the Tiger. Awesome. A FAV
