The Divine Mystery
When the Almighty from his vast heaven
Sent Adam to earth unforgiving
He said to him in his kind voice
I am one so go rejoice
For I am inside you as long as you wish
To live the life without anguish
As Adam’s clan grew
Holy and devout as morning dew
Said the Almighty now I am many
Living in hearts of one and every
When the good Lord sent his son
To absolve sin he shone like a sun
Almighty said now I am all
But then brother fought brother
None were left, not father, mother or sister
It was the beginning of devastation
With greed and molestation
Only the select few remained
Turned towards God and gained
His all supreme love
He embracing them sadly said, my doves
I am now few
