My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? My soul is in a storm out in the raging sea. Selfishly I have said those words to our Father in Heaven. I pray that my lamentations will be ultimately forgiven. Last Christmas my sister gave me a “Count Your Blessings” jar. It sits empty, unused, since I was only counting my scars. I’m going to get that jar out and put my poems in it each day, And thank God for giving me my poems and blessings as I pray. Written 10/16/16
