The Coming of Spring
Night no longer eclipses day,
announcing the coming of spring.
And winter doldrums get dispersed
by the happiness sunbeams bring.
As innocent as a new babe,
She exhales breaths of scented air.
And melts away the ice and snow,
freeing the wildlife in Her care.
She revives hope within sad hearts,
rejuvenating dying dreams.
And paints magnificent landscapes,
with extravagant color schemes.
Evoking memories of youth,
She oft casts a nostalgic spell.
And titillates your inner child
with a flowering bloom's sweet smell.
