The Colors of Love
Sideways glances, shy flirtation-
phone calls made in anticipation.
Greeting, meeting, sweet hello-
soft moonlight kisses in the snow.
Laughing, running in the rain-
thinking that we're both insane.
Warm caresses on the sand-
walking nowhere hand in hand.
Passions burning day or night-
will we, won't we, pillow fight.
Heart too big to hold inside-
wishing, wondering, then side by side.
Late night dinners at weeks end-
finding love in a pretty friend.
