The Cold

Is there a difference between the cold and the snow? The snow is new, but the cold, it knows. It's been there forever, and for so long in my bitter heart. It's seen nations fall, and me get torn apart. The snow is new each and every year. It knows nothing of sorrows, nothing of my fears. The cold is eternity, the cold is forever. The snow will melt away, but the cold in my heart, never.
