The Cancer

I've watched her vanish and dietirate into withering roses. The pain that takes over her body is spreading fast and furious, and only weakens her! How can she bring so much light into a room of darkend souls, with her smile, When she has only those two weeks to remain? Why her a mother and new bride? She doesnt want to miss a thing in her young boys lifes. But... she already knows how it will be and how it will come. Six days, six days she had before the death withen her took one last breath, and she vanished into the atmosphere and left.

That is very touching. Your emotion comes through. A picture of sadness painted with word. Nice Job. I lost my grandmother January of 2008. I still miss her. I have three poems called Unfinished business that are about the last days with her. Death hurts because we miss them. But if we remember that they are in God's hands, it isn't quite as bad.

Emily this is a heartfelt poem. Cancer does not discriminate against age, color, rich or poor, and I cannot think of a better word to describe it. God Bless, Ron

This is a sad poem, i read it three times, and I have to say I know how you feel. Cancer is a terrible thing, that we can only pray will be completely curable one day. But for now we just have to pray to God, and have faith that whatever he does, has reason. Good poem. God bless ~Jen~
