The Black Card

Quite opposite to the black ball This card played in the open court Scurrilous a sad weak back footed step Pathetic whether real or by perceived discrimination Gone the dream that one day we will not be judged by the colour of our skin Twas a dream that was deeply rooted in the American dream .. But last night I dreamt a dreary dream I saw a dead man win a fight My poor words dedicated to Martin Luther King Jr
