The Beast
When I'm all alone,
that's when the beast arise,
I know that he's here with me
though I can't see him with my eyes
He arise from deep inside me
like bile in my throat
pressing me to make a score
I'm reaching for my coat
When I reach the spot
where the devil stands his ground
I give him all I've got
but I don't hang around
He always knows I'm coming
I can't stay away for long
I know that I should stop all this
but I know I'm not that strong
I'm aware that drugs are killing me
I'm aware that it's just wrong
I don't know what they expect from me
don't they know I'm not that strong
When I'm all alone
that's when the beast arise
I know that he's here with me
though I can't see him with my eyes
I'm getting closer to the end
I've lost so many friends
In the morning I'll be sick again
fell like I've got the bends
I've just got to get off this ride
I know it's all my fault
There's nowhere that I can hide
I know that I'll be caught
The cops have been close on my trail
they're watching my back door
I won't have the bread to make my bail
I just don't care anymore
When I'm all alone
that's when the beast arise
I know that he's here with me
though I can't see him with my eyes
