The Balance

Bless you, Lord For the bounties you’ve handed me down For the children I love As their laughter replaces my frown Thank you, sweet Lord For the times when I wasn’t so sad Thank you, sweet Lord For the good times and the bad For life is a balance And God knows I’m caught in the middle The tune that I’ve danced to was oft’ times from Lucifers fiddle The music so sweet, when the worlds at my feet One dance closer to solving lifes riddle If not for the wrong road Then the other would not be the right If not for the darkness Then the stars wouldn’t shine out so bright Thank you, sweet Lord For the times when I wasn’t so sad Thank you, sweet Lord For the good times and the bad For life is a balance And God knows I’m caught in the middle The tune that I’ve danced to was oft’ times from Lucifers fiddle The music so sweet, when the worlds at my feet One dance closer to solving lifes riddle
