The Aged Picture

For years I kept your picture Since our dream bloomed A happy family, we assumed Our hearts will bond together Smiling in black and white Your soft voice resounding I love you my darling Everything will be all right Your smile comes alive Shaky hand touches your lip My whisky glass nearby flips Memento suddenly deprived With tissue I start dabbing To save your lovely face Even it left slight smear trace In my mind you're still smiling Xaysouvanh Phengphong

This is beautiful. I thought of a long lasting love that had survived so much though the years, and how still she looked so lovely in her admirer's eyes.
