That Was Then and This Is Now

that which is our greatest blessing can sometimes be blocked by our past that which is in store for us can be hindered in a flash we get so caught up in space and time and our memory is sometimes diminished major shifts are always occurring in life and is doesn't seem to be finished horrendous hurricanes, fatal floods and tremendous tsunamis in the blink of an eye erratic earthquakes, wicked wild fires, the polar caps melting and we don't seem to realize that Mother Nature is trying to counterbalance what mankind has put into place and in the near future there will no longer be a distinction when it comes to race things are happening in this life time never before envisioned nor seen an African-American President in office but what does it all mean? as that was then and this is now we need to properly package the past somehow the US of A has had a glorious past but we can live in it no longer we need to put our past in perspective so that our future will one day be stronger for you can't visit present grief with long ago events you need to live in the moment, to dwell in the present if you're constantly gazing at yesterday tomorrow will pass you by and you can't drive forward looking in the rearview mirror and I don't need to tell you why for in order to move ahead you need to let those old issues in life go for that was then and this is now and you need to go with the flow so let go of those dead relationships that now affect your present state of being for that was then and this is now and the future you should be receiving now cross over into your Jordan and claim your Promised Land and don't let folks tell you "that's not how we used to do it" upset your future plans God made a promise to you that you will prosper and succeed He said He will never leave nor forsake you in your time of need so be strong and of good courage someway and somehow as the future is waiting on you for that was then and this is now
