Thank You Father

Don’t misunderstand me. I wish to thank you, for everything. I’ve learned so much from you, I have had some of the best conversations with you. I still carry your songs Phrases of wisdom, love and loss. You have so much more that you could have given. Just don’t know who’s to blame. I wish you stayed together with her, I wish I had known you more I wish I hadn’t spent years hating you for things I didn’t know. Now we stay worlds apart but I do think of you I hope you are happy and free like you always wanted to be Cherishing life through its sweetness and rage Bitterness and pain Living like the hero in the stories you told Long long time ago. I wish I had been nicer, or could I still be? I can’t deny I wish things were better , merrier But it was what it was, little change can be. And as you say, we learn from everything. Still, thank you father.
