Teddy Bear
Alone he sits in my room
and waits for me patiently,
He was my comfort, my friend,
he was my security.
Once I showered him with Love
he was always there for me.
I'd hold him and hug him tight
in my arms eternally.
My teddy bear was my prince,
defender against all fears
Great or small, and together
we discovered new frontiers.
I felt he was a great knight
against the thundering boom,
And storms ne'er scared me, but now
alone he sits in my room.
So I picked him up today.
I embraced him all night long,
And it made me feel so warm
to know his Love was still strong.
