Tear For My Sweet Baby Boy

"Tear for My Sweet Baby Boy" as the tiny white casket was lowered in the cool rain a Mother's warm tear fell from deep intense pain the loss of a child; so precious, special and new eluded Life's chance to breathe; denied, had he grew a tender expression of a loving heart broken while the tragic tear tumbled, in sorrow unspoken it cascaded onto the covered glass enclosure touching a sweet baby boy assigned to Heaven's disclosure as Angel's held this tear on their long journey's flight kissing a sweet soul to be his guiding light soon a new little star appeared in blue sky without fear etched emotions cuddled by a Mother's loving tear.

Surely this is a silver tear here, Linda. I remember you used to write about your dear infant son who died far too young. I think I saw this on the winners' list so congratulations on your most fitting and poignant poem.

Great write my friend. My good wishes for your contest entry and thank you for your precious comments on my Song Poem. You may be aware that in Indian Music there are few Raag (musical notes based on classical Raagas) that by singing them Rains can be called to shower. I shall be very happy, if your farmers can listen to this song and clouds may shower Rains for them. Incidentally it’s raining here today after a long gap. I will pray for it Linda. Love & best wishes...Ravindra

There is no contest to this poem. It's fabulous. Outstanding. Wonderfully, beautifully sad. You are a poetic soldier who wields her pen like a sword. It's sad to know that it's ripped from the fiber of your soul. Applause, kudos and well done. You should certainly win first place. Rockman :-)

The tears that you shed for this young boy is truly a real tear as I know it happened in real life too! I'm am saddened for this occurrence but it led to a very awesome poem!
