Taking Her To Heaven
Taking Her To Heaven
What I went ahead and did was cry
Then at the end they started to dry
After all of them ran down my face
Ended up going all over the place.
When my face had been wiped clean
It still looked like such a sad scene
Tears not seen were welled up inside
How hard to hold back I had tried.
My mama she had to be moving on
Way up to heaven where she has gone
And was then that I started to realize
Many dark clouds covered the skies.
What most for long time I often feared
Clouds grew darker until rain appeared
And mama's life reached a brave end
Her long way to heaven we have to send.
Wishes went with her and knew they would
And also our kisses which have withstood
All life in itself and length of her love
Thanked God for taking her to heaven above.
