Taking Flight
The wings of the plane waved "okay" to the rudder
Indicating it is time to depart
Speedily excited to depart the tarmack
And begin a new journey
Up, up, and away the plane took flight
Like an eagle engaged in a journey
What will she find at her new destination
What glorious sights will she see?
The morning sun waved hello and the clouds chimed a happy tune
Celebrating the new day full of hope and promise
With new opportunities to view
