Symphony of the Universe
I reach for the clouds passing high
Floating in tandem seeming nearby
I stretch up to touch the downy stuff
And find it’s just intangible fluff
Pressing my body against the ground
Listening for every, tiny sound
I hear a billion creatures rehearse
The symphony of the universe.
I let myself drift in waves of thought
Allowing my senses to be caught
In endless stretching of space and time
In infinite joy, and peace sublime.
This quiet place, away from the world
Where visions of beauty are unfurled
I see it clearly, so peacefully
Displaying bits of eternity.
