Swallowed the Sun
Swallowed the sun
in attempts to
free the fire,
dimly lit universe
eclipsed 'neath
inescapable moons,
horizons hued of
brackish plastic tea's
apathetic indifference,
whilst darkly orbiting
fated solar systems
lost symmetry's balance,
ultimately, to relinquish their
vitally sanctioned powers
