Sutras

(Dedication: For the pilgrim wayfarer in each human face; and for my family, with love.) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Joy speaks of peace when love funds flow; Calm now floods ease in inner glow. Faith knows the way that hope finds love; Devotion stays with truth above. Go to a place where stillness calls; Leave time and space as silence falls. Arise my heart, let mind be still; Soul journey starts with zest that fills. Take time to pray beyond word spell; Do not delay this lovely dwell. The passing clouds tell of a glimpse; Veils hide from proud but faith shows scheme. Sit and align both heart and mind; Spirit now finds a healing kind. There is a time for prayer rhymes; Let the bells chime as stillness mimes. Words beyond words now echo here; Joy seldom heard in soul's deep cheer. Time within time, the stillness waits; Sutras now chime here at soul's gate. A mantra tints the fragrant hall; Vision now hints as bliss sweeps gall. The auric chant of this soul dance Now feeds a charm in a deep trance. Sounds repeat strains in mystic psalm; Soul feels most plain the magic calm. Echoes from far nudge deep within; On flight of stars the child unseen. Prayer funds joy in ecstasy; Here love employs clear harmony. Deeper than deep this inner shore; Beyond deep sleep a precious core. I sit here now as sutras come; A muse endows the words I sum. No man can write beyond the whole; Words cannot cite the peace of soul. I fly to space beyond all time; I glimpse a face that hurls my rhymes. Not I, not I, but a dear whole; I simply try that profound Soul. Then, I awake to sure aware: For sutras stake what mantras bare. Oh pilgrim dear, the night now ends; Grace comes to cheer with sure Godsend. Leon Enriquez 03 January 2015 Singapore
