Sunrise At Aushchwitz

Sunrise At Auschwitz As if they needed sunrise one more time. There's not a lot the world would have to say not seeing with their eyes, this human crime nor caring unless it sees light of day. Another day to rise and watch one's breath a steaming from the heart that can not care in bitter cold, just hoping early death will take them far away, to--anywhere! As if they needed one more day to live in death's cold grip, they greet the coming dawn, unmercifully life clings, and will not give until they've paid the price, death lives right on. There was no ray of hope for anyone who greeted dawn with life still holding on. © vee bdosa the doylestown poet

A touching and painful image about the failure of the Enlightenment`s Great Expectations in reason. As Theodor Adorno said: Is it possible poetry after such tragic event? And his Imperative to act in such a way never people repeat such horrible mistakes.
