Sunrise

It is a glorious sunrise On this early misty summer morning The first rays of the sun breaking through Slowly lighting up the ending night sky The colors are magnificent and radiant The sun light starting to kiss my skin The soft puffy clouds in the blue sky I close my eyes to absorb my surroundings The ever slight breeze caressing my body I inhale slowly, letting the cool air fill my lungs The silence is almost deafening I could stay here forever in this perfect moment I feel relaxed and almost giddy My emotions running wild with glee I open my eyes and take in the wondrous view The sun now rising above the horizon The birds are awakening, ringing in the new day The dew on the grass, glistening like diamonds
