Sun Up Sun Down

Sun up to Sun down the pace of life does not slow . Day fades to Night in this never ending fight. One week down, a thousand to go, what if I forget to grow. Conflicted between security and fantasy, wondering which is right. A love starts to blossom, possibilities seem endless. Do I play like an opossum, no, how useless. Should I hold my happiness ransom, for what purpose. Or do I start to blossom, embrace the limitless. Head in the clouds, Feet on the ground. Going to make her proud, Rise above the crowd. Seeing through false shroud, searching, searching, I've been found. Ascending where once bound, clearly no longer a tiny mound. No longer do I see each day a chore, but a chance to love and grow forever more. No longer shall I tolerate the mundane, but strive to create a life full of gain.
