Summer Storm
A blatant shot through blazing sky
First light and then a darker try
It threw down from the entrenched hand
Knowing where its goods would land
Can you imagine all the clouds
Stacked up high like boiling shrouds
The thunder broke the wind repeats
Tearing at the new washed sheets
A clash between the light and sound
Ice and water war, smashing at the ground
Wind that roared a mighty gale
Growling through the trees with hail
Then suddenly the sun broke through
Sparkling without sound but new
Everywhere the water rolled around
With warming sunshine steaming on the ground
