Summer Steered

Let me sugar shake the wind you hold one end of this sheet I'll latch quick to the ends of the other White to the sky to billow, fly We'll laugh as we face one another Let you run the minty grass You hold the wand I'll get the bubbles Dip to the soap 'till up, up they float away with the skin of our troubles Let me bloom the orange tree you hold the basket I'll cut the leaves Flowers to pop one by one 'till they drop to the scent, every memory summer retrieves Let you fall the sun You close your eyes in the sheets I'll tuck the blossoms behind both your ears Bubbles will fly The summer goes by and happiness leads us wherever it steers.
