summer afternoon palest blue sky dotted white... a thunderstorm ripped by screams policeman lies pale scarlet blood saturates shirt... tear stains upon children's clothes twenty years have passed memories lie buried deep... news report opens sutures Written: July 22, 2016 Inspired by contest..

The second most powerful thing I've read in weeks. Sometimes I awake and wonder what country I am in because, this isn't the same America in which, I grew up. Just when you think that things are slightly better; history begins to repeat itself. An excellent piece, Sara.

Thanks for the visit to my page..Yes, life has changed and in some ways not for the better but there is still good around..Even in small towns there is drug, crime, and killings but not quite as much as in the larger cities..We can only try to do what is right and pray for our nation that healing will come..Sara

Yes, it is a very uncertain world in which we live..There is good though if we only look for it..If everyone will try a little harder each day to make the world better I believe that we could make a difference..Sara
